This policy describes how personal data is processed when using the Metafora web platform and mobile app.

We process account and authentication data, contact and role data, operational data relating to companies, shipments, documents and addresses, and technical data needed for security and service operation. In the mobile app, when a user uses the proof-of-delivery function, we may process the delivery name entered by the user, the optional photo and its capture time. To diagnose and improve the service, we also use usage data, technical installation identifiers and error reports.
We process data to provide Metafora, manage access and permissions, process shipments and documents, provide support, protect the service from abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability and security. Processing is based on performance of the contractual relationship, legal obligations, legitimate interest in security and, where required, consent requested by the app.
Data may be processed by providers acting on behalf of Web Devotion for hosting, authentication, diagnostics, storage and technical support, including the Firebase services used by the app. We do not sell personal data or use it for personalised advertising.
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet contractual, tax, accounting or legal obligations. When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or anonymised under the applicable procedures.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure. Communications between the app, platform and external services use encrypted channels where available.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where provided by applicable law. To delete a Metafora account, follow the instructions on the dedicated page; we may retain only the data required by law or needed to manage disputes.
